Personal - 950 Series
Available as a strip-cut and cross-cut shredder, the GBC 950 series is a powerful deskside shredder suitable for the home and small office use. It has a 9 1/4" throat - one of the largest available to personal users - and is a durable unit capable of semi-continuous use. The cross-cut shredder can handle 12-13 sheets at a time and processes continuous feed at a respectable 15ft/minute. The cross-cut model can take 8-9 sheets at a time and amazingly matches the strip-cut model on speed. GBC offer a 5-year warranty on the cutters for both models.
Office - 5000 Series
The GBC 5000 series is a multi-purpose office paper shredder capable of shredding 100 loads per day. Heavy duty powerful motors that need no cool-down time, drive a solid one-piece cutting head that is hardened to take staples and paper clips. Three cut sizes are available - strip-cut, cross-cut and micro-cut. The micro-cut model produces one of the finest cuts available to security-conscious consumers. Shred capacity ranges from 22 sheets per pass on the strip-cut model down to 10 or 11 sheets per pass on the micro-cut model. All units can handle between 30 - 40 ft of continuous fed per minute. The 5000 series also has a large 15" throat and a 32-gallon shred bin which minimizes the number of times the unit has to be emptied.
Production / Industrial - 7000 Series
The GBC 7000 Series paper shredder is a high-capacity machine suitable for use in large offices where multiple users require access to a volume shredder. The solid one-piece cutting head can take paper clips and staples with ease, while the 16" funnel allows for a variety of document sizes to be processed. Two cut types are available - a strip-cut model and a cross-cut model. The strip-cut model is capable of handling up to 38 sheets in one pass and processing continuous feed at 30ft/minute. The cross-cut model can take up to 30 sheets in one pass and also runs at a speed of 30ft/minute. The 52-gallon shred bin also means that emptying need not be as frequent as in similar models from other manufacturers.
